What stays on your device
ImpactOS is built so that your personal content stays with you. This page explains what happens to what you type, open or compute.
Documents and pasted text
- Documents are read in your browser. The file is never uploaded to a server.
- Pasted text stays in the current browser session and is cleared when you close the tab.
- No document content is written to our database, our logs or our usage counts.
Financial inputs
- Income, savings and monthly amounts are used only to compute your readiness in the browser.
- No amount is stored on our side and no amount is sent with usage counts.
Usage measurement
- We count anonymous events such as a page view or a scenario selection.
- An event carries a name and a random session identifier, never your text and never your figures.
- Counts help us understand which parts of the beta are useful. They are not used for advertising.
Local storage in your browser
- Your language choice, your proof history and your progression are kept in your own browser.
- Clearing your browser storage removes them permanently.
Accounts and workspaces
- If you create an account, your email and your workspace content are stored securely and isolated per workspace.
- You can ask us to delete your account and its content at any time.
Scope of the product
- ImpactOS is decision support. It is not career, legal, tax or investment advice.
- Every score is computed from what you declare and should be read as an indication, not a guarantee.
